HXIT Joins Hands with Foxconn to Launch Customized Order Class for Intelligent Manufacturing Talents

On the afternoon of May 27, the launching ceremony of the "Intelligent Production Line Operation and Maintenance Engineer" order class, jointly established by HXIT and Foxconn Technology Group was held. The launch of this cooperation marks a substantial step taken by both sides in integrating industry with education and cultivating targeted manner, building a platform for seamless connection between HXIT training and enterprise needs.



Jointly customized by HXITs School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Foxconns Kunshan FuXiang Precision Industry and Jiashan FuDing Electronic Technology , the order class has enrolled 29 graduates, all from the class of 2026, all with signed employment agreements with the enterprise. They will receive five weeks of pre-job special training under the guidance of dual tutors from the HXIT and the enterprise before taking up their posts directly after graduation. This creates a "graduation-to-employment" loop, linking classroom to workplace.

Adopting a dual training model, the class targets core competencies for intelligent production line operation and maintenance. Both sides co-develop training plans, curricula and teaching. Foxconn integrates its technical standards, process specifications and job requirements into teaching, ensuring coursework aligns with industry needs.

Cheng Yanxia, President of HXIT, stated that the School of Intelligent Manufacturing is a key school of engineering. The order class serves as a benchmark for industry-education integration. HXIT will integrate high-quality educational resources to run the order class and focus on cultivating technical talents for the intelligent manufacturing industry.

Hu Bo, Senior Engineer at Foxconn Technology Group , commended HXITs school-running quality and talent training achievements. He noted HXIT is a key talent cooperation university of Kunshan Human Resources and Foxconns sole nationwide partner for such a class in 2026. He encouraged students to develop professional skills for long-term careers on the enterprise's platform.

Qi Hongfang, Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing of HXIT, pointed out that the order class is the schools first customized program based on industrial standards and core competencies. In the future, HXIT and the enterprise will further deepen cooperation, expand training directions and job types, and deliver skilled industry talents. This will help students secure high-quality employment and support regional intelligent manufacturing upgrades.
